The ride started with eight riders heading out on a cold sunny winters day ! Heading into a strong head wind we made good progress keeping in a group. Soon after Faringdon in between Radcot and Clanfield Frank had a problem with a collapsing front wheel ! Which he later told us was free ! No such thing as a free lunch i would say !
After trying to help we decided it was to much of a major job and left Frank at the pub in Clanfield and headed of towards Bampton where we decided to stop for refreshment a good choice of Chris . Richard decided not to stop and made his own way back. Fully refuelled the remaining six riders made there way back to grove .
A big thanks to Dave and Ursula who went back to collect Frank and delivered him back to Wantage before there journey home.

Ps Noted Robin new Scott road bike ! Fast up the hills .

50.98 km (31.68 mi)
