Description:

Weekly 1.5 hour rides at a riding pace of 18-20km/h (11-13mph). Not likely to be very hilly.

A north Vale loop tonight, passing through the lovely villages of Garford and Fyfield, rarely visited by the 2* group. We will hone our technical skills over the Southmoor footbridge from the north before dropping back down to Charney Bassett and home.

Report:
A nice group on a slightly chilly and slightly windy evening. We all stayed together well and enjoyed the rare ride through the lovely village of Garford, enlivened by the celebratory flag put out by a work colleague!

The main road stretches were a little stressful but OK and we were soon back on the quiet lanes across to Fyfield and then along to the footbridge at Southmoor. The downhill swoop to Charney Bassett was fun with a tailwind and we were soon back in Grove.
