Description:

Weekly 1.5 - 2 hours at a riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph). May be hilly.

TUESDAY MORNING UPDATE: Nicole is not feeling well, so John has taken over as leader. However, nothing else changes and we are still using Nicole's excellent route.

A loop out through the Vale to the west, via Goosey and Uffington, with a tasty little climb and descent at Compton Beauchamp. Then we run home via Shellingford and Park Lane.

It was a beautiful evening and a very large and enthusiastic group gathered. As has become the norm this season, we split into two groups - thanks to Jon and Karen for managing the second group and also thanks to Nick for sweeping the first.

A nagging headwind on the way out the hill, a good strong climb from everyone, a glorious descent and then a super-powered tailwind return to Grove.

Great fun, glorious weather and wonderful company!
